Is It Too Early for Halloween? We Decided No!

Is It Too Early for Halloween? We Decided No!

Okay, we know what you're thinking.

It's August.

Technically, there is still plenty of summer left. The kids are barely back in school. It's still ridiculously hot in half the country.

But apparently nobody told Halloween.

We started seeing Halloween decorations at Costco around Independence Day. Giant skeletons, pumpkins, ghosts, and everything else you could possibly need to turn your house into a haunted mansion were already waiting for us while we were still buying hot dogs for the Fourth of July.

So we started thinking...

If Costco says it's Halloween, who are we to argue?

You Really Wanted Pumpkin Spice Back

There was also another reason we decided to start Halloween a little early this year.

You guys would not stop asking us about Pumpkin Spice.

We've been getting messages asking when our Pumpkin Spice Crispycake was coming back, and apparently waiting for a more seasonally appropriate date was not going to make anyone happy.

We tried to hold out.

We really did.

But there are only so many times you can be asked about Pumpkin Spice before you realize you're just standing between people and the fall dessert they've been waiting for.

So we're done gatekeeping.

Pumpkin Spice Crispycake is back.

For everyone who waits all year for pumpkin spice season, your season officially starts now.

And Pumpkin Spice Brought Some Friends

Of course, we couldn't bring back Pumpkin Spice all by itself.

That means our Spooky Sweets Halloween Bundle is officially making an early appearance too.

The three-pack includes Pumpkin Spice, Candy Corn, and Haunted House Crispycakes, giving you three completely different ways to start celebrating Halloween before it's remotely reasonable to start celebrating Halloween.

Pumpkin Spice brings all those warm, cozy fall flavors people have been asking us to bring back.

Candy Corn takes our soft and gooey Crispycake and tops it with one of the most recognizable Halloween candies ever. Whether you're Team Candy Corn or firmly believe it should not exist, we have a feeling you're going to have an opinion about this one.

And Haunted House brings the Halloween fun with colorful edible artwork on one of our giant Crispycakes. It's spooky, festive, and almost too cute to eat.

Almost.

Halloween Treats Don't Need to Wait Until October

Part of the fun of seasonal desserts is that they're only around for a limited time.

But we've also realized that people don't necessarily want to wait until October 1 to start enjoying them.

Halloween parties start getting planned early. People start looking for Halloween gifts, spooky desserts, and treats for friends and family long before trick-or-treating actually begins.

And some people just want a Pumpkin Spice Crispycake in August.

We respect that.

The Spooky Sweets Bundle also makes a fun Halloween gift because you get three individually wrapped gourmet Crispycakes together in one box. And with our new giftable Crispery blue shipping boxes, you can send them directly to somebody and have a pretty fantastic Halloween surprise show up on their doorstep.

No costume required.

So... Is August Too Early for Halloween?

Probably.

But that doesn't seem to be stopping anybody.

The decorations are already in stores. Pumpkin spice is creeping back onto menus. People are planning costumes. And based on the number of messages we've received, some of you have been ready for fall flavors for quite a while.

So we're giving in.

Our Halloween Crispycakes are officially back, the Spooky Sweets Bundle has arrived, and Pumpkin Spice season at The Crispery starts right now.

Besides, Costco started it.
