There are some decisions we make at The Crispery because they look nice.
Individually wrapping every Crispycake isn't really one of them.
Sure, we like seeing a box filled with neatly wrapped Crispycakes, but there's a much more practical reason every single one leaves us in its own wrapper: it helps keep your Crispycake soft, gooey, and ready whenever you decide to eat it.
And considering these things are pretty big, that doesn't always happen the minute you open the box.
Freshness Matters With a Soft & Gooey Treat
Crispycakes aren't supposed to be hard and crunchy.
One of the things that makes a Crispycake different from a typical rice crispy treat is its thick, marshmallow-forward, soft and gooey texture. Keeping that texture means limiting how much time the treat spends exposed to air.
That's why each Crispycake is individually wrapped before it ever gets packed into one of our Crispery boxes.
If you order six different flavors, you don't have to open all six at once. Try one today, save another for next weekend, and keep the rest wrapped until you're ready for them.
No giant container of treats slowly drying out on your counter.
You Definitely Don't Have to Eat a Whole Crispycake at Once
We would be impressed if you did.
Crispycakes are big, and plenty of people cut them into smaller pieces rather than eating the whole thing in one sitting. That's actually how we eat them at home a lot of the time.
Once you open the original wrapper, you can cut off what you want and put the remaining Crispycake into a zip-top bag. We've found that works really well for keeping it soft when you're coming back for another piece later.
The individual wrapper simply means the clock doesn't start on every Crispycake in your order just because you decided to eat one.

Individual wrapping also comes in handy when Crispycakes aren't staying home.
